Delegation from Shaanxi province visited Zoetermeer
Shaanxi Province & Zoetermeer Delegation
On 22 October a business delegation from Shaanxi Province visited Zoetermeer. Shaanxi Province is an important base for R&D in the fields of aviation, mechanics and electronics and its R&D capability is among the top in China. The delegation represented 15 companies active in electronics, automotive and engineering.
The city of Zoetermeer organised together with local companies a comprehensive program for the delegation. The Dutch companies, Vehold BV, Lamboo Specials and T-comm as well as Green Mobility gave a presentation about their business in tire technology, medical equipment, tracking and tracing equipment and green mobility. In return the delegation presented Shaanxi Province. WFIA gave a presentation about WestHolland, Zoetermeer in particular, and the advantages of doing business in this region. In addition, a tax specialist from Exterus explained the Dutch tax advantages for foreign companies. Valuable contacts have been made between the companies and the governments of Shaanxi Province and Zoetermeer. In the nearby future further options for cooperation will be explored.
