Substantial growth International Water Association in The Hague
The Hague is moving forward as a prime location for companies and organizations in the field of water management. This is illustrated by the move of the International Water Association (IWA) from the Bezuidenhoutseweg to a larger office in the Bellevue building next to The Hague Central Station. In the last two years IWA expanded from 9 employees to 22 employees is expecting to grow even further.
Vice-mayor Frits Huffnagel paid a visit to the new office of IWA on behalf of the City of The Hague. The establishment of IWA back in 2007 was one of the first concrete results of the intention of both the cities of The Hague and Delft to set up an international watercluster. The Hague has a focus on water governance issues, whereas Delft aims more at water & delta technology aspects. For that matter the International Water House was established, an incubator facility for water related companies and start-ups. The Bureau International Affairs of the municipality facilitates these activities.

Vice-Mayor Huffnagel congratulates Paul Reiter, Executive Director International Water Association with there new office and offers a litho of a beach scenery at Scheveningen from 1807 on behalf of the WFIA.
